This specimen was lot 46384 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Florin (2 Shillings), 1877. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-62." This date comes with (KM 746.2, shown here) or without die number (KM 746.4). This example bears die no. 6 (visible to the left of the "W W" under the queen's bust). Die numbers were used 1868-78, likely in an attempt to measure die life.

Recorded mintage: 682,000.

Specification: 11.31 g, 0.925 fine silver.
