This specimen was lot 31684 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: William IV Proof 1/3 Farthing 1835 PR64 Red and Brown NGC. An outstanding example of this rare proof issue with vibrant colors over both sides, the planchet a gleaming red. Worthy of a strong bid." This one year type is fairly common altho the proofs are rare. The next issue of this denomination was in 1844 (KM 743).
