This specimen was lot 24298 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $7,637.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "William IV gold Sovereign 1832, MS62 NGC, boldly detailed and lustrous. Tons of eye-appeal for the TPG number." This type is listed for 1831-37 and is expensive despite the substantial mintage.
