This specimen was lot 225 in Sincona sale 75 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 5,500 CHF (about US$6,676 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Grossbritannien | Königreich. George II. 1727-1760. 1/2 Guinea 1751/0, London. Old laureate head. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. NGC MS62. Feine Goldtönung. (Rare in this condition, Nice gold toning.)"
This head, the final one for George II, was used 1747-60. It is the first issue of this denomination that is not very scarce.
