This specimen was lot 200 in Sincona sale 75 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,428 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Grossbritannien | Königreich. George I. 1714-1727. Guinea 1727, London. Fifth laureate head. NGC VF35." This type, the final one for George I, was struck 1723-27. Guineas were also struck for George II in 1727.
