This specimen was lot 2035 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$335 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "George I. 1714-1727. Farthing 1720, London. Second issue. Gutes vorzüglich (Good extremely fine)." This type was struck 1719-24 and is common up thru Fine condition. Proofs exist for 1719. It is nicknamed the "dump" farthing as it is smaller and thicker than later issues.
