This specimen was lot 56060 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, 1709 Year OCTAVO. London Mint. Anne. PCGS AU-53. From an Old Brooklyn Collection." This type was struck at the London and Edinburgh mints 1707-13 and is very scarce in nice condition.

Specification: 15.05 g, 0.925 fine silver.
