This specimen was lot 167 in Sincona sale 75 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$1,942 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Grossbritannien | Königreich. William III. 1694-1702. Guinea 1695, London. First laureate bust, sceptres with floral decoration, large lions. NGC XF Details. Gereinigt. (kingdom of Great Britain, William III, 1694-1702, guinea of 1695, London mint, first bust. Cleaned.)"
This type was struck 1695-97. Guineas of 1695 are known with the elephant and castle below the bust. These obtain a substantial premium.
