This specimen was lot 37084 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Commonwealth. 6 Pence, 1660. London Mint; mm: Anchor. PCGS EF-45. From the Richard August Collection."This type was struck 1658-60 after Oliver Cromwell's death as the Protectorate fell apart. In 1660, Charles II was restored to the throne and the commonwealth coinage ended.
