This specimen was lot 3994 in Goldberg sale 90 (Los Angeles, January 2016), where it sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Shilling, ND. James I, 1603-1625. Second coinage. Mint mark, Mullet (1611-12). Toned. NGC graded VF-20." The SCWC lists seven different shillings for James I; as they are undated, sorted them out requires skill, with the SCWC having deleted many photos. This one is perhaps the most common. With the accession of James I we drop "England" as the country name and adopt the current "Great Britain."
