Sincona sale 64, lot 3394

This specimen was lot 3394 in Sincona sale 64 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$501 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | Grisons | Kanton, Batzen 1826, Zürich. FDC. Prachtexemplar. (canton of Graubunden, batzen of 1826, Zürich mint. Uncirculated, Cabinet piece.)"

This type was issued in 1820 and 1826. Forty batzen made a thaler.
