Germany 2020D 2 euro rev DSLR.jpg

The specimen shown is an example of a type struck in Munich for Germany. It is a circulating commemorative, one of a series starting in 2015 honoring various German monuments (Brandenburg Gate in 2015, Zwinger palace in 2016, Porta Nigra in 2017, Helmut Schmidt and Charlottenburg in 2018). Since the SCWC is no longer updated, we don't have a catalog number for this type. To this writer's knowledge, Germany is the only country in Europe still operating branch mints; A - Berlin; D - Munich; F - Stuttgart; G - Karlsruhe and J - Hamburg.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
