The specimen shown is an example of a type struck in Berlin for Germany. Germany began minting this type in 2002 which is still in production, altho some years, such as 2003, this denomination was struck only for the collector sets. To this writer's knowledge, Germany is the only country in Europe still operating branch mints; A - Berlin; D - Munich; F - Stuttgart; G - Karlsruhe and J - Hamburg.

Recorded mintage: 59,248,000 + 43,000 proofs.

Specification: 3.92 g, copper plated steel, 21.25 mm diameter, plain edge.
