This type of 1940-45 was struck by the Nazis during the war. The denomination had heretofore been aluminum bronze (KM 92). This type was minted at Berlin ("A", shown here), Vienna ("B"), Munich ("D"), Muldenhutten ("E"), Stuttgart ("F"), Freudenstadt ("G"), and Hamburg ("J"). The example shown here has seen little wear but considerable corrosion, a fate common to zinc coins.

Specifications: 3.52 g, zinc, 21 mm diameter, plain edge.
