This specimen was lot 34016 in Heritage sale 3098 (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $4,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italy: Genoa. Republic 2 Scudi 1666-AB AU58 NGC. A beautiful, cabinet-toned selection of this scarce multiple Scudi, and the sole example of the date currently certified by NGC. Evenly struck, with an engaging steel patina overlying lustrous fields. The current "plate coin" on NGC's World Coin Price Guide." The republic of Genoa simultaneously struck scudi stretti, scudi largi, and double scudi (shown here). This type is listed for 1638-1719 tho not struck every year.
