This specimen was lot 1368 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$1,057 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN Genua, Dogi Biennali, 1528-1797. 2 Doppie 1626, Genova. Sehr schön. Schrötlingsriss. (Italy, republic of Genoa, biennial doges, 1528-1797, double doppie of 1626, Genoa mint. Very fine, Flan crack.)"
This rare type is noted for 1592-1603, 1608-09, 1612, 1617-32 and 1637 altho 1626 is an unlisted date.
