This specimen was lot 72388 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Genoa. Scudo d'oro, ND (1528-41). Mintmaster: CG. The Biennial Doges. NGC MS-63. Some typical striking weakness in parts of the legend is observed, but an otherwise solid representation of this pleasing gold issue, featuring a great deal of mint brilliance and some choice peripheral toning."
