This specimen was lot 4262 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$472 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 2 Quarts (1/2 Sol oder 6 Deniers) 1725, Genf. Silberabschlag. Demole 102, D.T. 1024d Anm. Richter (Proben) 1-332, HMZ 2-351h Anm. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Numismatica Genevensis SA 18, Genf, November 2022, Los 2370. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, two quarts or half sol of 1725, Geneva mint, struck in silver. Rare, About Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck in billon 1720-22, 1725-26, 1729-30 and is common. Silver strikes exist, made for presentation. One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
