Geneva 1730-PAC 3 quarts
This specimen was lot 4263 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$290 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 3 Quarts 1730, Genf. Silberabschlag. Mzz. P . A . C . Selten. Fast sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, three quarts of 1730, Geneva mint, struck in silver. Rare, About Very Fine.)"
This type was struck in billon 1730-31 and is somewhat scarce. Silver strikes exist, made for presentation. One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
