This specimen was lot 4247 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 7,500 CHF (about US$10,395 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Dukat 1649, Genf. Mzz. G mit kleinem I in der Öffnung von G. Verziertes Quadrat mit Inschrift und Jahreszahl. Rv. Gekrönter Doppeladler mit dem Genfer Wappenschild auf der Brust. Äusserst selten. Gutes sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion SINCONA 68, Zürich, Oktober 2020, Los 5278. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, ducat of 1649, Geneva mint, mintmark G with an I in the opening. Extremely rare, Good Very Fine.)"
