Sincona Auction 103, lot 1330

This specimen was lot 1330 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 4,000 CHF (about US$6,096 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Dukat 1648, Genf. Gekrönter Doppeladler. Rv. In einem Quadrat die Wertangabe, der Stadtname und die Jahreszahl in fünf Zeilen. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, ducat of 1648, Geneva mint. Obverse: crowned double headed eagle; reverse: value, city name and date on a square tablet. Very rare, Good Very Fine.)"
