Sincona sale 91, lot 3276

This specimen was lot 3276 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$198 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 2 Quarts (1/2 Sol oder 6 Deniers) 1654, Genf. Mzz. AB (ligiert). Sehr selten. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, two quarts or half sol of 1654, Geneva mint, mintmark ligated AB. Very rare, Very fine.)"

This type was struck 1603-04, 1610-20, 1645-54, 1677-78 and 1687-88.
