This specimen was lot 3316 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$266 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Geneva | Stadt und Kanton. 3 Sols 1581, Genf. Mzz. M für Domaine Maillet. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr schön-vorzüglich mit Prägeglanz. (Switzerland, city and canton of Geneva, three sols of 1581, Geneva mint. Rare in this condition, Very fine-extremely fine with mint luster.)"
After 1586, the date was moved to the obverse legend above the shield.
