This specimen was lot 3385 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $71.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "FULDA: Adalbert II von Walderdorf, 1757-1759, AR 1/6 thaler, 1758, initials CB, a few "bubbles" under reverse surface, EF." This type was struck 1757-59 to the convention thaler standard (one thaler = 120 kreuzer). According to the SCWC, this issue should have mintmaster's initials "NM" but we see the same "CB" that the auctioneers noted. The bishopric was mediatized by Napoleon in 1802 and partitioned.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver.
Catalog reference: KM-101.
