This specimen was lot 20519 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "FUJAIRAH. 100 Riyals, 1971. PCGS PROOF-68 DEEP CAMEO. For the Apollo 14 mission to the moon. Mintage of 550 pieces. Attractively produced with exceptional cameo-like features." This state, part of the United Arab Emirates, issued a number NCLT's in 1969-71 on dubious authority and then ceased, probably when its contract with the actual mint that produced them ended.
