This specimen was lot 3231 in Sincona sale 64 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$564 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Freiburg/Fribourg | Stadt und Kanton, Vierer 1740, Freiburg. Variante mit breitem Wappen. Sehr selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (city and canton of Fribourg, Very rare, Very fine-extremely fine.)"
The vierer or half kreuzer was struck intermittently in Fribourg throughout the eighteenth century (KM 37, 44, 45, 48, 52). This style was made 1736-44 and 1751 and is not expensive in low grade.
