The first specimen was lot 4174 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$174 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg, Stadt und Kanton, Kreuzer 1612, Freiburg. Jahreszahl am Ende der Vorderseitenumschrift. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Fribourg, kreuzer of 1612, Fribourg mint, date at the end of the obverse legend. Very rare, About Very Fine.)"
The second specimen was lot 3216 in Sincona Auction 105 (Zürich, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[2] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg. Stadt und Kanton, Kreuzer 1612, Freiburg. Jahreszahl am Ende der Vorderseitenumschrift. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön. Kleines Zainende. (Switzerland, canton of Fribourg, kreuzer of 1612, Fribourg mint, date at the end of the obverse legend. Very rare, About Very Fine, Minor edge clip.)"
This type is known for 1559-62, 1576, 1584, 1587, 1591-98 and 1610-16. This is a scarce date. Ninety kreuzer made a thaler.
