This specimen was lot 1185 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 110 CHF (about US$133 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Frankfurt | Stadt, 1/2 Gulden 1846, Frankfurt. Prachtexemplar. FDC. Feine Patina. (Germany, city of Frankfurt, half gulden of 1846, Frankfurt mint. Cabinet piece, Uncirculated, Nicely toned.)"
This type was struck 1842-49 and is common. This example realized about half the catalog value. It was accompanied by a gulden and double gulden (Dav-642).

Specification: 5.30 g, 0.900 fine silver, this specimen 5.31 g.
