Aureo sale 261, lot 756

This specimen was lot 756 in Aureo sale 261 (Barcelona, July 2014), where it sold for €370 (about US$594 with buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"1767. Alemania. Frankfurt. G PCB N. 1 taler. Plata ligeramente agria. Bella. (EBC-). (Germany, city of Frankfurt, silver thaler of 1767. Planchet flaws, handsome, about extremely fine.)"

This type is listed for 1766-67 and is rather scarce.
