This specimen was lot 1514 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €600 (about US$850 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · FRANKFURT, STADT Dukat 1636. GOLD. Min. gewellt, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Frankfurt, ducat of 1636. Slightly wavy, very fine.)"
This type was struck 1633-44 and undated. A double ducat (Fr-971) also exists. The initials "AE" are to the left of the shield on the obverse, about 8 o'clock.
