This specimen was lot 835 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 3,500 CHF (about US$4,333 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Frankfurt am Main, Stadt Doppeldukat 1612. Auf die Krönung von Matthias II. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Frankfurt am Main, double ducat of 1612, on the coronation of Matthias II. Rare, nice extremely fine.)"
This type and the very similar KM 40.1 and 40.2 are all rare.
