During An 8, this type was struck at Paris ("A", shown here), Metz ("AA"), Strasbourg ("BB"), Lyon ("D"), Geneva ("G"), Limoges ("I"), Bordeaux ("K") and Lille ("W"). Paris, Metz, Strasbourg and Lille are common. The dies for this issue were recycled extensively, resulting in a plethora of overdates and repunched mintmarks. The second one has an 8/7 overdate (8/5 also exists) and A/B repunched mintmark (A/BB, A/R ad A/T also exist). Some L'AN 8-AA issues are famous for having the denomination spelled "CNIQ CENTIMES".
