France 2013 200 euro KM-2101
This specimen was lot 1824 in Jean Elsen sale 158 (Brussels, March 2024), where it sold for €1,650 (about US$2,146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Cinquième République (1959-), AV 200 euro, 2013. 850e anniversaire du début de la construction de Notre-Dame de Paris. Ecrin et certificat n° 470. Titre 0,999. Flan poli. (France, Fifth Republic, since 1959, gold 200 euro of 2013, 850th anniversary of the beginning of construction of Notre-Dame de Paris. With box and certificate, Proof.)"
All the NCLT's of this denomination issued in 2013 were one ounce gold. Topics included the Tour de France (KM 2116), the Elysée treaty (KM 2121) and this one honoring Notre Dame.
