Aureo y Calicó sale 422, lot 3309

This specimen was lot 3309 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 25 € (about US$32 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "Francia. 1994. 100 francos. (KM1048). Centenario de las Olímpiadas. AG. Proof." Starting in the 1980's, the Paris mint issued so many NCLT's that the standard catalogs had to drop them to keep the books a manageable size. This is one of a pair honoring the 1996 Olympics.
