This specimen was lot 2847 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE: AR 100 francs piéfort, 1982, NGC graded PF67 UC, R." This specimen is from a type struck at the Paris mint for France 1982-2001 altho most years saw the denomination struck only for collector sets. The precious metal issues were strictly for insiders and collectors.

Recorded mintage: 3,029,711 plus 999 pieforts.

Specification: regular issue 15 g, 0.900 fine silver, 31 mm diameter, plain edge.
