This specimen was lot 73323 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. 1/4 Ecu, 1611-L. Bayonne Mint. Louis XIII. PCGS AU-50. Quite enchanting and enticing, this near-Mint stunner presents a deep hue that pairs well with the brilliance remaining in the protected areas." This product of the Bayonne mint is a common date.
