This specimen was lot 78470 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPANISH NETHERLANDS. Flanders. 1/2 Daalder, 1563. Bruges Mint. Philip II. PCGS FINE-15. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck for Philip II of Spain 1562, 1563 and 1565 along with 1/10, 1/5 and whole philipsdaalders. We also have examples from Gelderland and Brabant.
