Sincona sale 99, lot 293

This specimen was lot 293 in Sincona Auction 99 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 50 CHF (about US$75 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Alexander II. 1855-1881, 1 Penni 1876, Helsinki Mint. Mintage for Finland. NGC MS63 BN." This type was struck with a dotted border 1864-71 (KM 1.1) and a dentilated border 1872-76 (KM 1.2, shown here). This is a common date.

Recorded mintage: 2,005,000.

Specification: 1.28 g, copper, 15 mm diameter.
