This specimen was lot 75388 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1559-60). London Mint; mm: Lis. Elizabeth I. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, AU Details. Obverse: Crowned bust left with wire-line inner circles; Reverse: Long cross fourchee. From the Richard August Collection." Rare versions of this penny exist dated 1558.
