This specimen was lot 44545 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 2 Pence, ND (1504-09). Henry VII. NGC VF-30. An evenly worn but nicely detailed coin, well centered with clear peripheral legends, blessed with an even, dark gray tone. From the Midtown Collection." The mintmark shown here is a martlet (heraldic term for a swallow), which was used at both York and Canterbury but not London. This tuppence was also called a halfgroat.
