This specimen was lot 6630 in CNG Triton XXIX (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $1,592.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "PLANTAGENET. Richard II. 1377-1399. AR Halfgroat. Type II. London (Tower) mint. Crowned bust within tressure of arches; lis at cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Toned, minor marks, edge marks. VF. From Dr. R. Craig Kammerer Collection." The halfgroat was two pence.
