This specimen was lot 1089 in Jean Elsen sale 150 (Brussels, March 2022), where it sold for €170 (about US$225 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"GRANDE-BRETAGNE, ROYAUME D'ANGLETERRE, Edouard III (1327-1377), AR groat, 1352-1353, Londres. Pre-treaty period. Type C. D/ T. cour. de f. dans un polylobe. R/ Croix pattée longue coupant les légendes, cantonnée de quatre groupes de trois globules. presque Très Beau. (kingdom of England, Edward III, 1327-77, silver groat of 1352-53, London mint, pre-treaty period, type C. Obverse: crowned head facing in a polylobe; reverse: long cross pattée cuts the legends, cantonned with four groups of three pellets. about Very Fine.)"
