This specimen was lot 72292 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Groat, ND (1354-55). London Mint; mm: cross 2. Edward III. PCGS VF-25. Obverse: Crowned facing bust, with trefoil on breast; all within tressure of arches; Reverse: Long cross pattee; triple pellets in quarters. Deeply toned and lightly handled, with a solid portrait remaining."
