This specimen was lot 41077 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. 10 Qirsh, AH 1293 Year 17-W (1892). Misr (Cairo) Mint. Abdul Hamid II. PCGS MS-63." This type was struck years 10-11, 15-17, 20-24, 27-33 in substantial quantities altho this is an uncommon date. The "W" is the engraver's initial, not a mintmark; the dies were prepared in Berlin. This denomination was also struck in gold (KM 282) in year 17.
