This specimen was issued by Egypt as part of the F.A.O. series. Egypt issued an entire series of F.A.O. coins, ranging from five milliemes to one pound. The obverse features laborers performing tasks inspired by ancient Egyptian carvings. The ten milliemes was not issued after 1980, inflation having destroyed its value.

Recorded mintage: 10,000,000.

Specification: brass, 21 mm diameter.
