This specimen was lot 76583 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. 5 Milliemes, AH 1357/1938. London Mint. Farouk I. NGC MS-64 Red." This denomination was also struck in copper-nickel in 1938. When five milliemes were struck again in 1943, this bronze design was used, nickel being too valuable for the war effort.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 4 g, bronze, 20 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-360.
