This specimen is of a type struck 1974 only. It is common. The subsequent type (KM 77.2a) was nickel plated steel. By 1959, successive devaluations had reduced the sucre from 25 grams of silver to copper-nickel.

Specification: copper nickel, 21 mm diameter, plain edge.
