This specimen was lot 22438 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. 30 Pesos, 1974. NGC MS-64. Struck to commemorate the 12th Central American and Caribbean Games. Sharply struck and brilliant." This NCLT was accompanied by KM 35 (silver peso). It is the first issue of this denomination since the dictator Trujillo issued one in 1955.

Recorded mintage: 25,000 + 5,000 proofs.

Specification: 11.70 g, 0.900 fine gold.
