This specimen was lot 1533 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $88.12. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS: AR 28 stuivers, ND (1693). 'bundle of arrows' countermarked twice on a Deventer Florin of 1684 (KM-79), edge split from striking, Fine, ex Ponterio & Associates Sale 146, Lot 2211. By 1694 there were a significant number of lightweight debased coins in circulation and the countermark of seven bonded arrows was applied to coins of good weight and fineness." The host coin was a one year type but was a revival of a denomination originally minted 1617-21.
