This type was struck at Copenhagen for Denmark 1973-78. The design continued in production until 1981 with the initials changed to BB (KM 859.2). All dates are common. Previous issues of this denomination had been 6 g, bronze, 24 mm diameter. The denomination was retired in 1988 and demonetized the following year. Margrethe was queen of Denmark until her abdication in January 2024.
